Started At The Kitchen Table

Summer, 2022. We really just wanted some shirts that express our love for riding without the usual flaming skulls and raging colours. A simple shirt, might even be a silly one that says “I see you my fellow distinguished explorer”, nothing fancy or loud. Just like the nod — that subtle acknowledgement from one rider to another sharing the open road to somewhere quiet.

So we designed our own shirts (luckily I’m an illustrator) that reflect our understated way of riding. Then our friends wanted in. Then friends of friends. Soon we were selling at our local pop-up market meeting more who felt the same way. Turns out there's a whole community of us!

It was lovely discovering kindred spirits who also didn’t need aggressive branding to show the world who we are. We just are and that’s enough.

And now we're finally here online, reaching the broader family of riders who prefer the backroads, detours, and the long way home. Because we all know it’s never been about the destination.
